01 — Finishes

Two finishes.
One foundation.

Every floor we install is diamond-ground, repaired and sealed the same way. What changes is the surface you actually look at — and how it behaves underfoot.

Flake & Chip

Vinyl flake broadcast to refusal over a pigmented base, then sealed. The texture is the point: it grips when wet and it forgives a slab that has already lived a life.

  • Textured, slip-resistant surface
  • Forgiving over patched or older concrete
  • Dozens of blends, matched to your space
  • Hides dust, salt and tire marks
  • The workhorse choice for family garages

Metallic Pour

Reflective pigment poured and moved by hand while the resin is open. The movement is created in those few minutes and can never be repeated — which is the whole appeal.

  • Seamless, mirror-depth finish
  • One of a kind — the pour is never repeated
  • Colors blended to your cabinets or brand
  • Reads as poured stone, not coating
  • Built for showrooms, basements & retail

02 — Choosing

Which one is right for you?

The honest version, not the upsell version.

Choose flake if…

It's a working garage. Kids, bikes, salt, a snowblower, wet boots. You want a floor you never think about again and that hides the evidence of an actual winter.

Choose metallic if…

The floor is going to be looked at. A finished basement, a showroom, a collector's garage, a retail space. You want people to ask about it.

Still unsure?

Most people are. We bring physical samples to the estimate and set them on your actual slab, in your actual light. It settles the question in about a minute.

03 — Getting a price

Two ways to find out
what yours costs.

Every slab is different — condition, moisture, access and finish all move the number. Rather than quote you a range that turns out to be wrong, we look at the actual floor. Both options are free.

Option one

In person

We come out, measure, check the slab and bring physical samples so you can see the finishes on your own floor, in your own light.

  • Usually within a few days of your call
  • Written price, on the spot
  • Samples in hand — flake blends and metallics
  • No deposit, no pressure, no obligation

Option two

Send a photo

Not ready for a visit? Text us a couple of photos of the space and rough dimensions, and we'll come back with a ballpark before anyone drives anywhere.

  • Text photos straight to 517.435.6744
  • Or attach them to the estimate form
  • Wide shot plus any cracks or problem areas
  • Ballpark back, usually same day

What we look for

The slab

Two identical-looking garages can price very differently. These are the things that actually change the number — and why a photo beats a guess.

  • Condition — cracking, pitting or spalled edges
  • Moisture — a wet slab may need a vapor barrier
  • Access — stairs and tight basements add labor
  • Extras — coving, stair nosings or floor drains
