We only do floors.

House of Epoxy is a coatings specialist, not a general contractor with a grinder in the truck. Floors are the entire business, which is why the prep is not negotiable.

Where floors become art.

That line on our badge isn't decoration. A metallic pour is made in the ten minutes the resin stays open — after that, whatever movement is in the floor is what you live with. There's no undo. That's the part of this trade worth taking seriously, and it's why we'd rather do fewer floors properly than run two crews through a driveway a day.

The unglamorous half is the same conviction. Grinding a slab properly takes hours that nobody sees once the floor is finished. Skipping it is invisible for about a year, and then the floor starts lifting with the tires. We don't skip it.

Why us

Three things most
competitors can't say.

Polyaspartic topcoat

Not the standard epoxy clear most installers finish with. Polyaspartic is UV-stable, so it won't yellow behind a south-facing garage door, it cures faster in cold Michigan weather, and it takes abrasion far better. It costs us more. We use it anyway.

The owner is on every job

Not a salesperson at the estimate and a subcontracted crew on install day. The person who quotes your floor is the person who grinds it and pours it. That's the whole reason the prep never gets shortcut — there's nobody to hand the shortcut to.

The longest warranty around

Fifteen years, in writing, handed to you before we start grinding. Compare that to what else you're quoted locally — a short warranty tells you exactly how much confidence an installer has in their own prep.

What you can hold us to.

A written price

Before anything starts. It doesn't move once we're underway.

A written warranty

Fifteen years, on paper, handed to you at the estimate.

Licensed & insured

Certificate of insurance available on request, before we book.

An honest no

If your slab has active movement or a moisture problem, we'll say so instead of taking the job.
